And We're Off!

Wow, it is unbelievable but we are finally headed to China. Our plane takes off tomorrow morning at 8:39 from Denver. First stop LAX, then off to Hong Kong. We will reach there on Thursday evening about 8 p.m. (China time which is 15 hours ahead of Colorado time.) It is a long flight! We'll be spending Friday at Hong Kong Disneyland then have a day of touring the city with our travel group on Saturday. Sunday we fly into Guangzhou and we are scheduled to meet Ailah on Monday morning, Jan. 14.

Please keep us in your prayers. We desire safe travel and good bonding for Jeff, Ailah and I, peace and stability for Mara as Nikki, Katelynn and the Collin's family take care of her and strength, patience and energy for Nikki as she plays mom to Mara, a job that is a little out of her element.

Okay, I'm off to get some sleep. I'm 30 minutes behind my self-imposed bedtime.
