Stoll Round Two
We know you all think we're crazy, but we're having a blast. God has blessed us with two more beautiful daughters in the last 4 years. We don't have the energy we did 20 years ago with our first round of kids, but God gives us the energy we need. And think of this, in just a few more years, we'll be able to order from the senior menu and the kid menu both; discount dinners! Life is strange with kids on both ends of the spectrum, adult to toddler, but it keeps us young at heart. Life is good!
About Me
- Name: Laurie
- Location: Greeley, Colorado, United States
I'm a spoiled woman. I have the ultimate privilege of staying home with my two beautiful little girls and being available to help my big girls as they move into their adult years. This fall I will become a home school mom for Mara. (That may be weird.) I love what I do and count my blessings daily.

Mara gave a loud "do'h" when she saw that pic of Ailah with the spoon in her mouth! She woke up before Loe this morning and so we snuggled up and looked at your blog together. She smiled and laughed at that picture. And thought it was fun that Ailah likes french fries. :)
That passport photo is so sad. But, it's good to hear you are starting to see more smiles. Can't wait to see one on the blog!
Dear Laurie-
I've been praying every day for good health for you all... I just showed Linnea and ShanShan your pics and they wanted to hear about the White Swan... such memories! The China Hotel has a Starbucks in it... We enjoyed a trip to it with Christy and Dustin last year. CCAI had us stay at the China Hotel on Lily's trip. Praying for Mara too.
love,
Lori Smith
I love your pictures - you're doing a great job at keeping them posted. The spoon picture is exceptionally cute! I'll keep Mara in my prayers and will ask Ruthie to do the same. She's a real little prayer warrior if she actually knows the person and the need being prayed for. Since your adoption is taking place in Guangzhou, do you have to stay three weeks total?
